Vascular plants

Plants with a more or less differentiated tissue and a clear segmentation into root, stem axis, and leaves (cormus).

The vascular plants evolved by adapting to life on the dry land. Apart from mosses all plants populating the continents belong to this group (pteridophytes and seed plants).
