Mesozoic period

The mesozoic period started 250 million year ago with the evolution of dinosaurs and ended 65 million years ago, when they became extinct. It is segmented into the triassic, jurassic and cretaceous periods. During this time, the gymnosperms dominated the main land; versus the end of the mesozoic period, the flowering time of the angiosperms started.
